Huntington Beach, CA—Brightwater in Huntington Beach is #1 with Orange County Register readers, who voted it Best New Home Community in Orange County. The Register’s 20th Annual “Best Of Orange County” survey results were announced in late September, with real estate reporter Jeff Collins observing builder Woodbridge Pacific Group’s success in revitalizing this master-planned community after the housing recession. http://bit.ly/1892heP

“We are very gratified by this accolade for Brightwater, and we thank the Orange County Register and its readers,” said Todd Cunningham of Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG). “WPG strives to deliver authentic quality in home, neighborhood and community, and receiving this ‘Best Of’ endorsement tells us we’re succeeding—the whole company is delighted!”

Collins’ “Best of Orange County” summary notes Brightwater’s walking distance to Bolsa Chica State Beach and nearby trails; its 34-acre nature preserve; clubhouse/recreational center; and three neighborhoods with 11 new home designs, each of which provides opportunities for indoor/outdoor enjoyment with the included Huntington Room, an attached, covered patio with fireplace and disappearing Nano doors.

Brightwater’s new homes are situated in Woodbridge Pacific Group’s Capri, Seaglass and Azurene neighborhoods. Buyer campouts greeted the initial purchase opportunities here in late spring, and demand remains high, with more than 50 homes purchased since then.

In the same survey, Huntington Beach ranked #2 in Orange County’s Best City category, underscoring the strength of “location, location, location” for new home shoppers. “Our buyers want a new, spacious home, they want to be close to the beach and they want to be part of a city that offers high value for family lifestyles,” said Patrick Loyd, sales representative at Brightwater’s Azurene neighborhood. “They definitely appreciate Huntington Beach, with its sports complex, library, great schools, dining, entertainment and recreation. This is a wonderful city for families and Brightwater is a fabulous enclave within Huntington Beach.”

The 11 new home designs of Capri, Seaglass and Azurene offer diverse living spaces that range from approximately 1,992 to 2,685 square feet at Capri; 3,192 to 3,732 square feet at Seaglass; and 3,751 to 4,764 square feet at Azurene. Pricing is from the $1.4 millions to the upper $2 millions; please visit sales galleries for details.

Spacious floorplans, indoor/outdoor living and personalizing selections respond to diverse buyer preferences and households. A special part of each home’s design, the Huntington Room takes full advantage of Brightwater’s inviting coastal setting.

The Huntington Room is an attached, covered patio that is comfortably sheltered for evening use, with from 235 to 326 square feet of space, depending on plan selection. “The Huntington Room is ideal for indoor/outdoor entertaining, especially with the fireplace and disappearing Nano doors,” said Polly Barnes, sales counselor at Seaglass. “And it’s just as nice for simply relaxing at home.”

Brightwater designs also present a wide array of optional choices, with distinctive spaces that help buyers tailor their new home to their family’s lifestyle. Among these are prep kitchens, home offices, media rooms with wet bars, twin suites and bonus rooms, depending on plan selection. Also enriching home and neighborhood appeal are the well-detailed Hampton, Monterey, Cottage and Traditional architectural styles.

The new Brightwater Club adds a fresh dimension to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle for Capri, Seaglass and Azurene homeowners. Its 2,000 square foot recreation center features a unique combination lap and volleyball pool, children's pool, spa, gym and community events room. “Now our buyers have a well-designed new home, an inviting community focal point and terrific coastal location,” said Louise Easton, sales counselor at Azurene.

Adjacent to the Bolsa Chica wetlands, Brightwater features walkable access to Bolsa Chica State Beach and to additional public beaches and trails. Dining, shopping, services and entertainment are also in easy proximity. The Ocean View School District and Huntington Beach Union High School District serve Brightwater. Brightwater’s established location is not subject to Mello Roos assessments.

Those on Brightwater’s pre-approved priority list have first purchase opportunities as new sales releases become available. They can also review price-included and optional features and consult with the designers of Residential Design Service. To become part of this list, please visit a Brightwater sales gallery and ask for a Pre-Qualification Loan Package.
